I'm loving the Buffistas wedding-officiant smack-down and would love to be a witness to any/all vows and vow renewals.
Also - finally home after accidentally spending a week away for Christmas.
It was enjoyable - but it's nice to be home.

I need to get new pillows too, and I looked at them when I was last in TJ Maxx, and the current ones I have are Ralph Lauren, because that's what TJ Maxx had last time I was shopping for pillows, about ten years ago. And I started looking for Ralph Lauren pillows and wouldn't accept Calvin Klein pillows and then I got myself in this big snit about why was I trying to find designer pillows, and moreover what kind of world was it where there even were such a thing as designer pillows.
And then I had to leave the store.
Because I could recognize my mood and it wasn't going anywhere that wasn't going to end up with me in jail for protesting pillows. Which, what kind of cause is that to plant your flag?
So, like, I have to try again when I'm in ABQ next week. And also I tore my awesome flannel fitted sheet so now I have to replace that too.
Ha. I didn't get the designer pillows, partly because I couldn't stop dithering about what level of firmness I actually wanted and eventually just grabbed something and ran.
Also? AARGH STUDENTS STOP TELLING ME WHEN YOU ARE HIGH ON FACEBOOK! I realize you're high, so you don't realize you're telling me, particularly, but it is taking an increasing amount of effort to ignore! Sheesh.
I feel similarly (but less so, obviously) about my little cousin. OK, so she's 18, but still.
Yeah, the dithering is a problem. But I actually know what kind of pillows I like, and there were plenty of that kind, I just had to choose which (deeply discounted) designer brand I should buy. And then my brain melted into a big pile of self-righteous goo, and I had to leave. And also I didn't make it to Trader Joe's, because it was a few days before Christmas and it was a madhouse. So it was a total retail fail.
I, too, am in need of new pillows. I'm thinking of getting the somewhat more expensive real down pillows, on the theory that they'll last a good long time and pay for themselves.
I also have pillow angst, but my problem is how one sustainably disposes of old pillows, so I still have my old horrible no good pillows. I too am thinking of down, since I assume that would mean less frequent disposal, and also down is biodegradable.

Oh, that's an interesting question.
I think down is too squishy for me.
For a long time my disposal pattern was "give the dead pillow to the children," but each child now has two pillows and I am finished reproducing.
