Also? AARGH STUDENTS STOP TELLING ME WHEN YOU ARE HIGH ON FACEBOOK! I realize you're high, so you don't realize you're telling me, particularly, but it is taking an increasing amount of effort to ignore! Sheesh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel similarly (but less so, obviously) about my little cousin. OK, so she's 18, but still.

Yeah, the dithering is a problem. But I actually know what kind of pillows I like, and there were plenty of that kind, I just had to choose which (deeply discounted) designer brand I should buy. And then my brain melted into a big pile of self-righteous goo, and I had to leave. And also I didn't make it to Trader Joe's, because it was a few days before Christmas and it was a madhouse. So it was a total retail fail.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I, too, am in need of new pillows. I'm thinking of getting the somewhat more expensive real down pillows, on the theory that they'll last a good long time and pay for themselves.

I also have pillow angst, but my problem is how one sustainably disposes of old pillows, so I still have my old horrible no good pillows. I too am thinking of down, since I assume that would mean less frequent disposal, and also down is biodegradable.

Oh, that's an interesting question.

I think down is too squishy for me.

For a long time my disposal pattern was "give the dead pillow to the children," but each child now has two pillows and I am finished reproducing.

I'm currently doing a lot of replacing things because my stuff is old and starting to become unusable. New monitor. New slow cooker. New sheets. New pots. Just picked up new frying pans this afternoon.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I tried to do some work, and it was boring, so I'm watching Magic Mike.

A quick google suggests animal shelters. Someday I'm going to call my vet and see if there is anything they can do with Homer's leftover food and pills, so I'll ask them if they want the pillows.
