In the brief interim while my kids were at school and I wasn't with them for a party or performance, I went to Trader Joes without children, which was excellent.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
OMG, my bags didn't show up, and we ended up driving out to get them. And part of my gift to my sister broke.
It's not so much ducks nibbling as swans biting, and I'm bruised all over even if I'm not bleeding.
Don't think we're going to a resort this year. Major sadface. That was tradition, man. But I'm not all the way upset. Food family conversation--all good, and even better now that sister is home, and luggage is too.

I am so wiped. But I a lot of stuff done yesterday and today.
Also, I make a kick-ass homemade alfredo sauce. Baked pumpkin cookies and a loaf of lemon bread to take to D's family get-togethers.

I can't believe I likely talked my stepmom into watching Scandal. It's a good show and I really love it but omg cunniligus was not what I expected when I told her she should watch. In general, I'm a big fan. Just I sort of thought it'd be clothes and no real politics chatting. Now there's cunniligus . Still I love the show. I just wish I only talked about it with you guys and not parentals.
