Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

One factor is that everyone gives sweets at Christmas, so things like pretzels and cheese crackers are appreciated

FTR, if you are considering surprise food to me, this does not apply. No need to be more savoury than bacon inside the chocolate. I can cover my savoury needs. Please supply chocolate.

My default lunch restaurant has shrunk the size of their side of garlic fries by at least half. So it is no longer able to pretend it's an entire lunch. I'm pretty sure the price was the same, though. Not happy that they've ruined Garlic Fries Monday.

I was looking for a BA to back me up this weekend when I'm at the wedding, and I was disallowed from asking the first one (he'll be in Vegas, but he said he was going to be online anyway), and the second one said he needed to be able to get in touch with me. I explained that was the problem--I couldn't predict my availability, otherwise I'd do it myself. Now he's assuring me he would have done it, but my manager says no. Yeah, she probably does, but I'm sure it was after he complained. She told me to find someone, and he was the only candidate (other than herself, which she has now volunteered). Which means that now I need to find a screenshot of what IE looks like when you click on a file that's a MIME type you don't have a handler for, because she's not tech savvy enough to tell success from failure on that front. Yay google?

I need to go pad my unhealthy lunch with something still unhealthy.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Consuela! You also share this date with my DH.

Great. It's fallen to me to organise something I really want to do, but will be comparable to herding eels. Get CFerg and John Rogers in the same place at the same time with me. John's idea, and Colin's already been clear he's punted the ball in my direction.

I don't know! Well, at least I know it will be 2013. Which simplifies things, except...pilot season. Better sooner than later, then.

I'm not only comparing apples to find the best (the Pink Lady that tasted like a sweet Granny Smith is currently in the lead), I'm also comparing yoghurts. For some reason that kangaroo one wasn't grabbing me. This pineapple Chobani, however, is decidedly nom. A shade sour, but the pineapple flavour is great.

Someone a few rows over needs to take their horking to the restroom. I do not need to be able to echolocate his nasal passages from all the way over here.

Woops, flowers were from my brother & SIL, not my sister. Very nice of them!

Oh good, I just bought some of that. I also love the blood orange. And the TJ's pumpkin.

TJ's mango/apricot is just weird though. Not in the good way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Very nice! Getting flowers is great.

Talked to the vet, and he basically said to let Homer hang out as long as he seems to not be in a lot of pain. So I guess I will. At this point, I think it's harder for me than for him, so I should try to get over that a little bit. I mean, he's sitting on my lap right now! Which I guess is a good sign. He also said they can generally get people in for euthanasia within a day, so I don't need to worry much about planning that. Will try to get a grip and also a good night's sleep, which I did not last night, which of course doesn't help anything.

But first, choir.

Snuggles instead of hugs to Homer.

Yay for flowers, and happy birthday!
