Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

IT IS ADORABLE.
I don't believe that for a second.
I just cracked myself up using my predecessor's DRAFT stamp. I realize it's not that funny.
I feel better now after having looked at those pictures, and the wall we were banging our heads on in this project has been resolved.
But mostly my head hurts and I really really want to cry. I'm grateful my plans have me going to the ER tomorrow morning instead of Sunday, but this day at the office will be long even if I don't do my normal here-until-seven thing.
Suela, I think most of the fannish grapevine regarding Crash Bandicoot comes from Tumblr. Are you active there?
Are you active there?
No, I am not. Which explains my ignorance. Tumblr, like FB, is blocked at my workplace, and I don't have time at home to fully explore a new ecosystem. So I have bookmarked a few Tumblrs (Coach Taylor Encourages Your Academics, Fannish Flamingo, Women Warriors), and I follow links once in a while, but that's it.
And the recruiter says this morning that the Houston people are not going to make an offer. Despite saying they would make an offer Monday.
Fuck.
Dana, I'm so sorry.
sarameg, insent to your personal addy.
And the recruiter says this morning that the Houston people are not going to make an offer
Fuckers!
Really, that's just grossly unprofessional. If you don't have authority to make an offer, don't say you will. If the decision isn't final, don't say you're going to make an offer. How hard is that to understand?
I am a bad daughter: I overruled my dad, and told the med staff to give my mother Haldol this morning. I would like for my dad to have one morning not full of rage and abuse.
Consuela, depends on your definition of what BAD is.
I suspect your mother has reached the point where it's not "drugging her to keep her compliant" but "drugging her so that she's not emotionally wrought." She needs a break from it as much as anyone around her.
