Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

That is wonderfully sweet, Kate.

I have been feeling sluggish, overly sleepy, and just off for a while. I had been blaming it on the asthma, but that is under control now and I still feel like blah. The lightbulb went on this morning and I called my oncologist to schedule a blood test to check my iron levels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Took the exam this morning at 7:00 am. GUESS WHO PASSED, MOTHERFUCKERS?

Scrappy the Boss!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We live in exciting times--there are now four different breeds of hairless cats:

10 Most Bizarre Cat Breeds on Earth

The Cornish Rex and Devon Rex are also on this list. Senor Sock was a Devon Rex, and I took care of two Cornish Rexes for a while. Beautiful cats.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay for the awesomeness of Scrappy!

I almost thought I killed the thread with hairless cats....

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

WooHOO, Scrappy! Good for you.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Some of those cats were super cute!

I do love cats, but they make me so so sick. But I do suppose the hairless ones wouldn't have that effect.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The lightbulb went on this morning and I called my oncologist to schedule a blood test to check my iron levels.

I had been feeling really run down earlier this year, and wondered if it was my iron, so I went back on a multivitamin with iron, and my energy level came back up. I don't know that it's related, but I'm sticking with the multivitamin as far as I can.

Mom report: she told E this morning that her home was the town I grew up in, and which she moved out of in 1993 or so.

It depends. Some people who are allergic to cats do fine with hairless cats and some don't.

Turns out that one of the side effects of Hubby's new heart maintenance drug is increased crabbiness. Which I have definitely noticed. He'll probably need to be on it for life. As I told him, "Better a crabby you than no you."
