So tired, kids and me both. And getting cranky. But on the upside, they had a great play date with new friends from Minecraft camp, and Isaac has definitely met a fellow spirit.
It's 94 degrees in my living room. Smoothie for dinner, here I come.
Oh, Lewis Black. Marry me.
Sharknado! That's fantastic.
ok peoples. today is my brother's 45th birthday. Those of you that even remotely know him should say hi on fb. Those of you who do not know him at all should say happy b'day on the really unflattering pic I just posted on my fb wall. fwiw, he refers to you all as the coven, so feel free to reference that in your wishes. THANKS.
It is hard to do these "special" things for him living so far away.

Martin Freeman & Benedict Cumberbach. (batch?). being amusing on youtube.
My sleep doc told me her (Asian) 17 year old niece had shaved her head short like mine. It was on her bucket list. Doc is worried she has a flat head like she considers unexceptional for Asians, and wants to check with her mother about that.
Which I could only find hysterical. She was way scandalised abiut the choice, and the term "bucket list" wasn't helping any.
I just saw Incompeted Developer where she says she has 12 yaers of development experience. Which...she might have had a orimotion in the last month or so, but she was an associate developer last time I checked--I didn't even know there was a level below unadjectived developer. 12 YEARS. How would you feel?
When discussing with an architect if we had the right mix for a project he said not her, because she was okay with fixing stuff and finding simple errors and copying and pasting, but he wouldn't trust her with a whole ne application.
12 YEARS. And she's one of those web developers who doesn't list HTML as a skill.
This is why I work in usability now.
