Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Given actual number of calories as opposed to ratio not that different 4 oz clemintine has 20 more calories and a 4 oz tomato. If you are doing exchanges not that different. And a LOT easier to keep track via exchanges than via calorie counting.

Fitday.com calls 'em at 53 and 20 cal. per 4 oz., respectively. Incidentally, by your standards, carrots and onions are also to be considered fruit. Throw in some green peas and you've got yourself the start of a decent fruit salad.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

OTOH, the Bruins won.

There is that. And my Beantown guys considerately scored both their goals before tonight's Teen Wolf episode, so I feel no regrets for channel surfing between that and the game.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Would work survive a call-in sick day?

Can't happen tomorrow, unfortunately. The other reference librarian in SF is on vacation, plus my glasses broke on Sunday, and my eye doctor is closed on Monday, so I need to go tomorrow.

I just really wish I wasn't this worn out so early in the week.

Maybe planning a trip to New Orleans would help?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Maybe planning a trip to New Orleans would help?

Highly therapeutic!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have to go defend our company in a hearing at the labor board tomorrow. if I lose, we have to pay $20,000, so I'm a bit nervous. Plus the hearing is at 8:30 am, which is an ungodly hour.

That's why God gave us coffee, to deal with these ungodly times.

Like, "Yeah, I'm not going to be there to help you at 8:30am. How about you drink this instead?"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can do it, Scrappy!

After taking a single day off yesterday, I am now on the other side of the "take days here and there" vs. "take a whole week off, even with no plans" debate. I am still not ready to go to work!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Scrappy!

I am already looking forward to my week off next week (and mildly stressing myself out with the too many things I would like to get done while I'm not working...)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Do people use/like Fitday? I don't need to track food, but I'd like to track my sleep and exercise; it's part of my therapy plan for insomnia and depression. I REALLY like my psychiatrist! He gave my a ton of free samples of my pricey new AD!

Oh, I am OFF Xanax and Ambien. 4 days of sleep restriction, and no matter how late I go to bed, I am getting up at or before 11, and no naps, and not going to bed before 11 pm. This is going to be hard, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has a better success rate for insomnia and drugs. And my new AD is working GREAT so far.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I signed up for Fitday back in the dark ages and used it for about a month? Any kind of tracking software that requires input from me is not going to succeed.

[Like, if Google Glass could take a picture of everything I ate and calculate the calories for me and also sync up with a watch pedometer or something...I would happily log in at the end of the day and look at all the data I'd generated. But I can't be bothered to write that shit down.]
