Oh, hey, looks like I shouldn't have gotten that last health insurance bill and I don't have coverage this month after all. What a good time this would be for a potential offer of employment to become actual. Still eligible for COBRA if I need it, not yet a dire situation.

I made the mistake of buying a six pack of Redd's Apple Ale today, hoping it would taste like a dry cider with a little malty goodness for good measure. It's like somebody stirred fermented apple jolly ranchers into apple juice from concentrate, then carbonated it. Uggh.
Only in retrospect did I read the press releases announcing that it's being spaced to compete with Mike's Hard Lemonade and other sweetened non-beer malt beverages, not actual ciders.

Sounds nasty Gris. Going into the rodeo the only adult beverages I saw was beer and Mike's. I didn't see the whisky hut until we were leaving. Darn it.
