Oh, hey, looks like I shouldn't have gotten that last health insurance bill and I don't have coverage this month after all. What a good time this would be for a potential offer of employment to become actual. Still eligible for COBRA if I need it, not yet a dire situation.
yay!
Hey, we're back!
I'm a bit worried: I am going to speak at the funeral, and I haven't written anything down.
Argh. Maybe later tonight.
ION, in the Bay Area, it's hella sunny, dry, & windy. I'm feeling fire weather. Argh.
Hello board. So shiny!!
Went to a rodeo today. Yeeeee-haw!
It's supposed to cool off quite a bit overnight, Consuela.
Good luck with the speaking. If you end up just saying what you are feeling at the time it will be fine. Funerals are like that.
I made the mistake of buying a six pack of Redd's Apple Ale today, hoping it would taste like a dry cider with a little malty goodness for good measure. It's like somebody stirred fermented apple jolly ranchers into apple juice from concentrate, then carbonated it. Uggh.
Only in retrospect did I read the press releases announcing that it's being spaced to compete with Mike's Hard Lemonade and other sweetened non-beer malt beverages, not actual ciders.
Sounds nasty Gris. Going into the rodeo the only adult beverages I saw was beer and Mike's. I didn't see the whisky hut until we were leaving. Darn it.
Good job, board architects!
The pedicurist grabbed the wrong bottle of polish from her cart this morning. I noticed 2 hours later. Oh well, I hope the lady next to me doesn't mind her purple sparkly toes. I don't mind her more sedate almost-black red. It's one I've worn before.
More asparagus and mushrooms for dinner. And I got fresh peas, so made up peas, roasted corn and red onion salad, with italian dressing. I wanted some basil to chiffonade, but the market always had ridiculous huge bundles, the line was long, and I didn't feel like talking (they'll totally give you a smaller amount.) And then TJs didn't have any. I might as well just buy a $2 plant tomorrow.
Saw lisah & bob at the market. Love running into them there.
Laundrating, with Pumpkin curled up with me.
Honfest and neighbor's boy's band is playing late in the day tomorrow, so will go do that.
Good luck, Consuela. If you are anything like me, writing something down will keep you from continuously "writing" it in your head all night, so probably worth doing.
