Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Never was able to do the splits. I guess I'm just not that physically flexible.(Mentally, who knows?)

Definitely "the splits" where I"m from. Apparently they should add THAT to the language maps of the US!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, what about stretching your legs out while sitting on the floor and putting your head down to your knee? I never could do that, either.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will take your answers off the air, as I have to go hang out with Inspector Lewis.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Are you literally hanging out with Inspector Lewis, like you hung out with Lord Grantham? Because if so, I am super-jealous.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

  • Esther Williams died (at 91, so if you too thought she was already dead...)
  • Prince Philip in for exploratory abdominal surgery
  • Paris Jackson tried to commit suicide

Dizzying celebrity news day (I'm gonna count Phil in that pile, thx).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

What devilish witchery am I playing with if I went 18 on, or maybe 6 off?

Not Steph, but I believe they're only worried about skin irritation. If leaving it on longer doesn't bother your skin, you're golden.

The idea of any kind of patch worries me, because for my skin, there are only two kinds of adhesive: ones that don't stick and ones that cause welts.

Two dead cars in one week is a bit much.

Punishingly Intricate

We also had to get a new water heater this week. And a new toaster oven!

That's sad about Paris Jackson. Poor kid.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I can't put my head down to my knee, but I can still touch my toes.

That's what I was going to say, or that the lidocaine might not last 18 hours.
