Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That sucks, Lee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What a PITA. I hope the work thing doesn't impact you too badly.

IMeN: how can I be so far behind when it's only Monday? I am destressing about the impending transition and work by reminding myself that if it all goes pear-shaped I can use the time off. And if it all goes just fine I have time off in three weeks. So everything is hunky dory.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Ugh, Lee. But, FWIW, I've had multiple snags with FasTrak in the past -- everything from transponder dying to expired credit card to accidental toll evasion by way of 3-4 booths in a row failing to ping the transponder -- and they've always been shockingly fast and unproblematic about getting everything fixed. As bureaucracies go, they're clearly doing it wrong.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The main problem I have with this is that the dealership should have already taken the title out of my name and all that, and they don't seem to have.

I called the dealership and bitched them out already--they say they are going to take care of it, but I'm still going call Fasttrak tomorrow.

I also told the dealership that they have until next Wednesday (when I get home from the conference) to prove to me in writing that they have this solved and that the paperwork is done right, but if they haven't I am going on the warpath, starting with yelp and ending with the Costco auto program.

It could be they picked a bad day to fuck with me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks for the reset, Zen!

Glad to be of help!

I finished my 75 for the day! Granted, it took me all day, but I did it. Tomorrow is a rest day, and I think I'll start the 30-Day Ab Challenge from the same people tomorrow, so I don't lose momentum from having a day of doing nothing.

msbelle, sorry Oz's diagnosis wasn't better, but glad it wasn't worse. Diabetes is at least manageable.

Lee, that's so frustrating! I hope they fix their stupid mistakes quickly. I've had similar problems with the East Coast version whatever it's called. I got to the point I'd rather just slow down and pay the toll at the time than fool with their systems and devices.

Um, I'm not sure there is any day that is a good day to fuck with you. They will cover the $59 fees, yes?

sarameg, Loki is a member of the feline contingent, correct?

Yes, strictly feline household. On the blueberry-scented wellness fatass formula with a couple of cans of crack. All below the necessary diet.

I am still waiting to find out who I gotta pay for the car payments.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That's about as good as it gets, by way of quality dry food. It does have several unnecessary forms of plant material in it (unnecessary to feline nutrition, that is - dry food pretty much has to have some kind of starch in order to maintain the crunchiness). If switching completely over to high quality canned food is not gonna happen (that has made it much easier for me to manage Harvey's weight) then the only thing I can think of to suggest is getting some treat dispensing toys to put the kibble in to make Loki work for his supper. This [link] works nicely for my cats who get a very small about of kibble as a snack in the middle of the day. Unless you are already doing that, in which case, ignore me.

Hey WindSparrow, what do you think of Before Grains? My cats have all loved it in a way I don't usually see with the healthy food brands.

high quality canned food

Which one do you feed them, Andi? I like Sheba (as do they), but I can't find it locally anymore.
