I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I over cooked them a bit

7 minutes worked for me.

hip deep in pie

I feel SO GOOD about myself, you guys! Every night this week, I've meant to do something after work and gotten stuck to the sofa. And now I have an avocado!

I meant to start doing yoga and eating better this week and instead I've gone out drinking three of four days after work.

I'll validate that.

I don't have little ramekins, so I had to do three together in a little round casserole, so it messed me up. I was hungry, which worked out well. It's also all I made. What temp did you/do you use? I did 325 as recipe said, but it also said 12 minutes for two in a single dish.

Hope your friends are good, Anne.

Now I am off to FB to find what I'm sure is a lovely picture of msbelle.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm feeling pretty good about doing a 3-mile circuit of the local lake tonight, since my morning walk was rained out. Well, other than getting a blister; I think I'm buying some Dr. Scholl's tomorrow.

I can't tell that the diet/exercise boost has had any effect on my weight yet, but at least it gives me lots of energy and I don't feel like I'm going to be gasping after walking for 5 minutes at the theme parks.

You've been social four times in one week - that's exercising people skills!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So now I'm going to spend the weekend pointedly not wondering why my doctor ordered two weeks worth of meds instead of four. Best case scenario he just pissed off my new boss because I'll need to run home Fridays to accept the delivery twice as often. Best case.

Much higher! at 425.

Here's the recipe I referenced.

Also, I didn't have cream and used a very rich thick Greek yogurt and it worked fine.

And I used a muffin tin with one egg per cup.

You guys, I'll go back and read, but I watched Taylor graduate tonight in Shriver Hall on JHU campus. And I totally cried. But not when she got her diploma, no. When it was announced that she was receiving a $6K scholarship given to only one student a year at Dunbar. It's the Thelma March Scholarship.

[link]

Thelma March achieved excellence in all that she did: a woman who did not succumb to circumstances but arose to her dreams. Since 1983, the Thelma March Scholarship Foundation has awarded deserving high school students of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and Frederick Douglass High School with four-year scholarships to the colleges of their choice.

When the March family rep began the reveal, he said "When I met this young woman, I was simply blown away and knew the decision was made. I have not often met a *person* of her calibre, much less in someone so young." And then he started telling about her research in concussion tech and I just gasped. That's MY TAYLOR'S RESEARCH. When they announced her name and had her come up was was all teary and "THAT'S MY GIRL UP THERE!!!" And he told the CEO of Under Armor (who was the commencement speaker) that he absolutely must sit down and talk with her, and he would make that possible.

You guys, this might be the needed extra for her to go to Guilco.

YOU GUYS.

OK, now I'll go catch up.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Sara, that is awesome! That is fantastic news.
