Whenever I've aided people, they have bleached, but I've never experimented otherwise.

Oh, add tulip dig to shoulder stress. Hrm, maybe I need to go easy on the distance today. Enough to loosen it up, but not the full 2 mile haul. I hate switching routine (cue everyone laughing) but since I'll be swimming early tomorrow morning....

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

So, flaming candy, eh?

With just a pinch of vitamin C, yes.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sorry, brenda. I hope your dad's treatment is effective and quick.

tommyrot, that was a damned impressive Geoguessr score!

I'm a bit in love with Isaiah myself now...in a totally appropriate, I wish that came in my size, sort of way.

Hell yes. I would like such a gift box, myself. I'm glad Isaiah properly appreciates the awesomeness that is Matilda.

The FREE MOON PIES are also pissing me off mightily, like we're a bunch of puppies jumping eagerly at snax

A couple times every summer, our department head has an "ice cream social" in the hall. Everyone is supposed to stop working and go have free ice cream and chat in a friendly manner. The boss-boss prowls the aisles prodding people away from their desks to make them go eat ice cream. It lasts nearly an hour, wastes everyone's time, and is not a substitute for raises or respect, but at least it's good ice cream.

The reviews at Glassdoor.com are mostly spot-on for my company. Except for the intern who said we were all lazy and advised senior management to do something about that lazy environment. Yes, unpaid college intern, we will leap to take your valuable advice!

Meanwhile, they stay up past midnight and start getting up around 10 a.m.

That's my preferred sleep schedule.

Compassionately intolerant

I didn't get to bed until 4:30...too much caffeine and Supernatural...and then got up at 7:30. I've been trying to clean all the things, but not succeeding.

I did wipe down and vacuum everything in the great room, and move a couple of pieces of furniture around. Brand new room!

I'm quickly running out of steam though.

Must. Do. More.

Oh, and I'm doing a juice fast, that is actually going really well. d

Loki got to go outside and eat grass and growl and hiss at imagined things.

10 minutes later, given the look on his face, there's a pile of cat barf somewhere.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hell yes. I would like such a gift box, myself. I'm glad Isaiah properly appreciates the awesomeness that is Matilda.

Here's the Beetle bracelet he gave to her. She wore it to Pixar yesterday.

What she wore yesterday.

(She wasn't allowed to take the sword to Pixar.)

(The tiles are missing over her head because that's where Emmett leaned on the wall. Teen Hulk Smash Simply By Leaning.)

Awww.

OMG, I have my windows open and my house is nice and cool (a little chilly for shorts and short sleeves, actually) and yet I hear someone's AC running in the alley. People, it is dry, temperate and pretty pollen-free today (I think)!!!

OK, gonna go swim. Maybe that will wipe out the rest of the cobwebs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've always had to bleach in order to get pink or purple good and bright, but just dying over the natural dark makes for pretty highlights in the sun. That's what I did last time, when I had all over purple, and it was a nice effect.
