I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've always had to bleach in order to get pink or purple good and bright, but just dying over the natural dark makes for pretty highlights in the sun. That's what I did last time, when I had all over purple, and it was a nice effect.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hanging out in my room while Gary rehearses with M, who has a concert tonight. (He will play guitar on a couple songs.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Home from my cousin's baby shower, which was nice, but I am now WIPED OUT for no particular reason. I haven't seen her since Christmas, when she told us she was pregnant, so it was stunning to see her all preggo! Good times.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Home from my cousin's baby shower, which was nice, but I am now WIPED OUT for no particular reason.

JZ and Matilda went to church, and then instead of going over to her Dad's house to do some laundry, Jacqueline called to say that Matilda was droopy and probably sick and needed to nap.

So they came home instead, crawled into bed and JZ fell asleep and Matilda popped up right as rain and wanted lunch.

Jacqueline slept for two hours.

So...lassitude is going around.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

We took my Dad & the dogs all out to Point Isabel this morning, which is a huge dog park on the Bay, where the dogs can swim and run for miles and miles. It also has a coffeeshop and a commercial dog-bathing place, which is great. Now I'm letting my cooked rhubarb cool before I try to make rhubarb curd, and thinking about napping before our afternoon bike ride.

I hope everyone has a pleasant day.

Oh, Point Isabel is good times! I need to get Walter over there soon, our choices for off-leash running nearby are disappearing.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So...lassitude is going around.

I need a nap and instead I am watching All of the Racing.

I've been doing this long enough that I can generally stack all of the races together when I don't feel like being up at 4:30 a.m. for Monaco. We all have our skillsets. Only 600 miles to go.
