But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Jesse, if you check the Davis Square LJ, there's been new developments, such as a bunch of letters sent out by JonMon telling posters they won't get named in the John Doe section of his lawsuit. I'm... almost... sorry that I'm not included so far, but honestly with the unemployment and consequent financial situation, I don't want to borrow trouble.

Eeeee. I just found out a secret that I have to keep from the kids for another few weeks. KCD is actually doing something REALLY nice for K-Bug. Like, I'm still in shock that he is doing it. So, I can't tell her and I can't tell CJ cause he bites at secrets.

No thunder, sarameg!

Damn, I just emailed my friend at the firm where I thought I had the strongest chance of getting hired -- as in, he's a group manager and he called me to tell me he wanted me to work for him.

And now he says they're talking to 2 or 3 other people and it'll be at least a couple of more weeks before they have a decision.

Which sorely disappoints me and makes me nervous about being actually out of work before I land another position. I'm beginning to run out of networking opportunities...

Because books.

You can have our job~ma back, Consuela. Stephen got offered a job this afternoon! And is starting 5/20, as far as I know. Whee!

Right now, I'm most excited about the decent health insurance and the fact that the company pays 70%.

And Sara is officially going to the Friends school next year!

Plus another friend got great news! Today has not sucked.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So, things moved a bit quicker on the job front than I expected. To refresh your memories, on April 15(the day with the other personal crap for me) my boss said that we should find me a new lab, since my skills aren't being used well where I am. I agreed. Last week I had an interview with a lab that was more up my alley, so to speak. I was told they didn't have a position at the moment, but they would try to see if they could find a place for me.(which might take a while) This morning I get an email from hr saying that I am to start a 6 month detail in that lab starting Monday the 13th. Ok then.
