Good lord. It's all sunny and gorgeous out and I disappear into the server room for 20 minutes. I come out and it is dark and WHOA THUNDER.

Was not expecting that.

Good luck on the jobs front, you guys!

Aw man, looking at the map, it looks like they aren't stopping any time soon. Big rotation centered over WVa. Swim outlook poor.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We've had a couple quick showers. I just popped out and checked under the Shademaker 2000 and it's quite acceptably dry there, both table and seat, so I might yet get to sit and read out in the yard today.

Art Crawl!!!

I can't believe that people were mocking Charles Ramsey - asshats.

ION - I had to order a new power cord for my laptop and I did - on April 20th. I somehow forgot to give them my new address but I have a forwarding address in play so it should be okay except that Dell says that the package was delivered to my old place. . . the USPS says that it could take up to 30 days for something to get to me.

Which do I believe? Is is sitting at my old address? Or is it in Post Office limbo?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had to send my birth date into my new Employer's office so I can be set up in ADP and there is a small, insane part of my brain which is paranoid that they will now not want me because they think I am too old. Feh.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm about to participate in a conference call while sitting in a Starbucks. Not sure how well this is going to go, and I think I'm fulfilling at least one stereotype, just not sure which one.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Banish that thought, Scrappy. They hired you because they want you.

Feh, indeed! Not that your paranoia isn't warranted to some degree. There's a lot of age discrimination in hiring these days. But you're already hired! And you're awesome and they'll be happy to have you.

Jesse, if you check the Davis Square LJ, there's been new developments, such as a bunch of letters sent out by JonMon telling posters they won't get named in the John Doe section of his lawsuit. I'm... almost... sorry that I'm not included so far, but honestly with the unemployment and consequent financial situation, I don't want to borrow trouble.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Eeeee. I just found out a secret that I have to keep from the kids for another few weeks. KCD is actually doing something REALLY nice for K-Bug. Like, I'm still in shock that he is doing it. So, I can't tell her and I can't tell CJ cause he bites at secrets.
