I'm watching 12 Angry Men for a homework assignment. You guys, I know it's a classic, but there are too many middle-aged white dudes in this film.

The people here at work are being super nice to me this last week. It is such a huge difference between everyone else and the boss. Today and the next two days people are taking me to lunch. Today after work a group are taking me to happy hour.
And the new office I am going to, which is much much smaller (only 5 people), two people from there have emailed to say how excited they are to have me coming.
My lunch was a chef's salad (Chef Salad? Is there standardization on that name?)made with Char Sui and leftover leg of lamb. I feel pretty fancy.
That's so great, msbelle!

Opposite Land!
That all sounds so good, msbelle!
The guy I had a half-hour phone interview with a couple of weeks ago now wants me to come in for a 45 minute "first round" interview. This process could take literally forever!

Heh. I watched it for a grad school class, and was almost unbearably distracted by the Voice of Piglet.
All I can remember is how young Jack Klugman was. Baby Quincy.
I am epically frustrated by people today, and I need to pee, get lunch, and learn javascript in the next half hour.
DER. I did not realise people were mocking Charles Ramsey. I thought they were mocking the operator. Shitheads. Anyway, this is for Good Stuff, if it's not in queue yet: [link] Christ, man.
Okay--lunchpee.

Gah, I know the feeling. Now I'm all worried that I priced myself out of the job I interviewed for last week, although I did say that any decision I made wasn't going to be based solely on salary.
... Is a week too soon to ask how their discussions are going?
I don't think a week is too soon, although be prepared for the answer to be "we haven't had a chance to talk about it yet."
At least I didn't underprice myself! In the phone interview, he asked what I wanted, and I said "I wouldn't consider leaving here for less than $X," and he said, "We're thinking about $X+Y." So that's good.
