I've rather enjoyed the relationship between Bush the Elder and Clinton.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

THEIR FACES.
Seriously? I can see what he wanted it to mean
I think he meant the old man was still very active and enjoying every day, but it didn't really come out that way.
I just can't with the revisionist history of GWB's presidency. Poppy Bush is intelligent even though I did not agree with many of his policies. I literally have nothing good to say about GWB.
One mystery I would like solved: Poppy Bush apparently does not remember where he was when Kennedy was killed. I find that hard to believe. I wonder if he was on a secret mission overseas or with a mistress.
So in other news the job I put in for in Portland wants to talk to me. Hmmm. I mean, yay they want to talk to me, but I really just submitted for it as a lark.
OTOH, I have been looking for a job for a month and have no offers yet, which is stressing me out.
Pfeh.
(completely redacted, just in case, 'cause I'm extra nervous about saying anything inadvertently wrong.)
Yeah, since he wasn't five, I believe that "don't remember" is a "Don't wanna say."
Hey, job people wanting to talk to you is good! Even if it ends up not being a job you can take (although who knows, maybe there are remote working options).
The job I interviewed for here is being filled. The person they hired temped here for 18 months and would have been hired when the contract was up but there was no opening. The manager I interviewed with (who I have little contact with day-to-day) e-mailed me to let me know before they announced it generally, which was nice of her.
It's Bring Your Kids to Work day here, and so far my desk has been the stop for Doctor Who discussion, Batman sightings, and Captain America being declared the good guy and Tony Stark the bad guy.
Man Consuela. Glad they want to talk to you.
If the local color from first season of Grimm is anything to go by, Portland is an awesome place to live...
