Oops, sorry Scrappy and Sparky. Post fixed.
Scrappy, I'm glad the interview went well!
I'm about to apply for a job in Anne Arbor. I've been talking about moving back to MI to be near my family for a while, but haven't done much of anything about it, other than set up job opening watches in possible areas. I've tossed many a resume into the void before, though, so odds are not much will come of it.
I am now trying to imagine a society filled with lemur nannies.
(((erika))))
I, for one, would like a lemur nanny.
I'm so sorry, erika. We never have enough time with them.
I did not share this thought with any relatives.
My sister and I had that thought many times. We kept it to ourselves. But I doubt we're the only ones.
a pasture full of grazing cows across the street from a Burger King. I'm not sure if that's really convenient or an uprising waiting to happen.
WAKE UP, SHEEPLE! Burger King is cattle! To Serve Beef--it's a cookbook!
erika, I'm so sorry. It's so hard, even when it's the best thing for them.
It's weird, because although she slowed up as she got older, even most of the day yesterday she seemed like herself. Than last night, she seized and a bunch of other stuff you don't have to be Dr. Herriot to know is very bad.
She was a good friend.
She even went to an f2f and tried to snatch Clovis from Jilli.
That's rough, erika. My sympathies.
I've been so behind in the big threads I've missed a lot of folks who have suffered losses. Now that I'm caught up, I want to extend my condolences to erika and everyone else (and there seem to have been a lot of you lately) who have lost a family member, be they two-legged or four.
