'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Speaking of Uncle Wingnuts (who aren't necessarily uncles), one of my Facebook friends was going on about how Cambridge harbors illegal immigrants and what do they expect to happen when they do that. The fact that the brothers aren't illegal (and appear to have been in this country up to ten years?) doesn't seem to have given him much pause.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

one of my Facebook friends was going on about how Cambridge harbors illegal immigrants and what do they expect to happen when they do that.

I caught John McCain on one of the network morning shows around 7:30, and he segued from the issue at hand right into immigration reform. I think the anchor wanted to throttle him.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My parents are oddly excited about how Lester Holt is broadcasting from right in front of a diner that we like to eat at when we're visiting Boston. I don't get it.

Oh, I do that. A lot of it is just, I don't know, hey I know exactly where that is! I've been there! And it's on TV! And then another part of my brain is all...So?

So I both do that and don't get it.

Yeah, Tom -- he left for it before hearing about the lockdown order. At least he has something positive to do while waiting for normality to return!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's why you never go to work early.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Loves brenda.

Filling out the psych questionnaire I wonder if they are gonna refill for me. I'd kinda be interested if there was a med I could just take for the worst week of the month. Don't think so though.

When I get to work I should be able to tell people. About job. Whoot!

Art Crawl!!!

Well, the river isn't over the road this morning - but in more craxy weather news: it was snowing (lightly) when I walked from the bus stop to the office.

WTF????

And - stay safe Bostonians. This has been one completely nutty week and I'm glad that it's almost over.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am pretty sure I am addicted to my anti-depressant- I do go through withdrawal if I do not take it for a couple of days. In fact, I was listening to This American Life, where they were talking about a doctor who murdered his father, and kept saying that he needed citalopram, and describing his symptoms. Everyone thought he was faking, but it turns out he actually had Huntingtons. Anyway, his symptoms are mine-- weird electrical zaps through my brain, feeling like I have facial ticks (although it doesn't show) and just general not being able to think.

I wouldn't really call that addiction, except in the most technical sense.
