Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am pretty sure I am addicted to my anti-depressant- I do go through withdrawal if I do not take it for a couple of days. In fact, I was listening to This American Life, where they were talking about a doctor who murdered his father, and kept saying that he needed citalopram, and describing his symptoms. Everyone thought he was faking, but it turns out he actually had Huntingtons. Anyway, his symptoms are mine-- weird electrical zaps through my brain, feeling like I have facial ticks (although it doesn't show) and just general not being able to think.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wouldn't really call that addiction, except in the most technical sense.

Because books.

I'd kinda be interested if there was a med I could just take for the worst week of the month. Don't think so though.

I think you can do that with one of the kinds of generic Prozac. Ask the doctor. Serafem, I think? Not sure how it's spelled.

And congratulations on the job! I don't think I said that yet.

In Boston news, I just started following Eliza Dushku this weekend, and her mom seems to live right in the Watertown area. She seems a little freaked out. I also started following Margaret H. Willison, pop culture happy hours librarian superfan who lives in Boston, and she is very informative.

Withdrawal symptoms generally indicate physical dependence, which is not the same thing as addiction. Pretty much every antidepressant will cause withdrawal symptoms if you stop taking it suddenly. (That can actually be extremely dangerous, which is why it's strongly recommended that people taper off antidepressants rather than stop them suddenly.)

Uh, I'm not trying to lecture; I just don't know if you mean you have an addiction in the sense of a behavioral disorder, or just that the drug has affected your body in such a way that if you don't take it, you have adverse effects.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Somerville still isn't on lockdown, but the police would prefer us to stay indoors. I may decide to go out into my backyard anyway. I'm a rebel that way.

In more realistic news, I have to fill a prescription and get Kat Fud.

Kat Fud

I always write it that way on the grocery list!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Can Bostonistas confirm that cell service has been shut down across the Boston metro area? My brother isn't answering his texts.

This- Although I think if I couldn't get it, I would be very upset.

Although I think if I couldn't get it, I would be very upset.

But isn't that partly because you know you wouldn't function as well without it?
