I just had to invoke the underpants gnomes in a meeting. Seriously. And it wasn't to be funny; it was to point out what an IDIOTIC "plan" this dude had.

Stab stab.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

On hold with benefits people about getting H's 401k into my hands. Apparently they set up the beneficiary account last August but didn't transfer the funds or tell me whatever I needed to do to make that happen. Sigh.

Underpants gnomes.

Most famous for their business plan. (The business plan, of course, being what I was citing in the meeting.)

Reorg has happened. I'll be moving to a new role in a couple of months. I'll be reporting to a new manager based in NYC, so I may be bopping around Chelsea more often than I have in the past, which is never.

That's like every business plan I've ever come up with, actually.

Good news, shrift? Or at least not bad news?

Weird news. I'm going to miss my current team, but ultimately it'll probably be a good thing for my career. But I may be a team of one and having to define what my new role will be... which could be challenging and good? I may get to build out my own team in the future?

A lot of change and the unknown. But at least I don't have to move out of Chicago for now.

A little scary, but good!
