"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Good news, shrift? Or at least not bad news?

Weird news. I'm going to miss my current team, but ultimately it'll probably be a good thing for my career. But I may be a team of one and having to define what my new role will be... which could be challenging and good? I may get to build out my own team in the future?

A lot of change and the unknown. But at least I don't have to move out of Chicago for now.

Because books.

A little scary, but good!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow! That sounds exciting!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's really cool, shrift. In the cool way. I do think that everything should result into a move to at least a tropical location, but I might also be missing some intermediate steps in my plan.

We just had someone on a meeting ask if it was procedure to send out email notifications to people affected by an internet outage. She got really thorough explanations from two people.

My terrifying all day meeting has been changed to two two hour meetings, and a new confusing hour meeting has been added to my schedule today. I'm a little hand-wavey and at a loss.

Heh. You posting that prompted me to check my work e-mail on my phone and sure enough, there's my notification of connectivity failure.

Still better than an all-day meeting, I hope?

What's important is what you decided to wear, you know.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yup, we had snow this morning. SO went fishing anyway because it's his day off.

hwæt

So the dumplings I got were cheap and tasty, but now I have a headache, so I'm guessing they were tasty because of all the MSG they put in them.

Also this for Good Stuff: [link]

We are having one of the first nice, mild sunny days here. And by mild I mean 10C. It's been a cold spring.
