Especially for Teppy: this is as good an argument for the existence of God as any....
That's hilarious!
Marriage equality is important, but so is the equality of non-marriage: of friendship, of solitude.
That, to me, is what Bert and Ernie stand for.
Awww, that's pretty awesome.
It's supposed to hit 85 here today. And 90 tomorrow!
It was 63 here yesterday! And it's still coming down in big giant clumpy flakes.
The wind blew the bird feeding station apart yesterday so I'd better get out there and reassemble. I was just thinking I was probably done with feeding for the year, but apparently not! Seriously, maybe half a foot of snow or so? Yay spring!
That you didn't have to find a prince to live happily ever after--just a pal. Marriage equality is important, but so is the equality of non-marriage: of friendship, of solitude.
So excellent. I think Bert would approve, too.
It's take me until today to decide, but I think my favorite Sesame Street muppets must have been Cookie Monster and Oscar.
Ugh. We just had another round of layoffs here. Again, I dodged the bullet (as did everyone on my team - we're currently the revenue generators, at least for the foreseeable future), but it's still a gut punch. Some folks who'd been here quite a while too.

She has a point about non-marriage getting unfairly dinged. As for Bert and Ernie, I always think of them as the kid version of The Odd Couple.

Wow, are things just not bouncing back for your industry, or is this a more generalized slash-and-burn corporate philosophy?
No laying off Buffistas! Stop it, companies!
It's supposed to hit 80 here today, so I came to work in short sleeves and no jacket. And then I put on my office sweater because it's chilly in here. But if it's even half as nice today as it was yesterday, my spring/summer tradition of walking down to the Hudson for lunch can continue!
Sorry, Frank. Glad you came through it okay, but I know that's hard even so.
And interview~ma to msbelle.
I am in a blah mood today and feel like all my cute clothes are too big or too small, so I'm all in gray and every time I look down and see that the grays don't quite match I think "Three Shades of Gray" and wonder of that counts as making a reference. I don't think my coffee is working.
