The status is NOT quo.

Hurray, Lee! I love having citrus trees. I too had a Home Depot gardening trip recently. I planted four new rose bushes and a baby bougainvillea.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am looking forward to it, I must say. Just have to put in the work to make sure I don't eff it up first (and figure out how I can get the trees home). I plan on also buying some planters and stuff to put in them that I can work on today, since both OSH and Home Depot are having garden sales this weekend.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo hoo citrus trees! And planters!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but now I don't want to waste being up, showered, dressed in outside clothes with makeup and hair and everything

You've got to find an excuse to show off your pretty to the world!

Check your local listings to see if there's some event worthy of your presence. Something where you can stroll about: garden show, car show, lawn bowling, lawn darts, champagne brunch al fresco (with book), bocce tournament, antique show...

Citrus trees sound awesome! What'll go into the planter?

Good call, David. So far I've eaten lunch (out, but not exciting) and gone to Lowe's because reading here reminded me I needed to buy a reel mower, which I did. Now I'm internetting at B&N so I can find something more fun to do. Actually, assembling the mower will probably be fun, but it can wait.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I am in full-tilt spring cleaning mode today. Unfortunately I'm being so thorough I've only done about half of one room so far, but the master bedroom will soo be DUST FREE. My nose is displeased with this chore but I just keep reminding it how much better we'll sleep without all those dust bunnies behind the bed. And under the bed. And on the blinds. And on the ceiling fan blades. And on the books.

Yeah, I've got the spring cleaning bug too. I completely redid our media room/library, including moving furniture. The living room and dining room are straightened, but I'd not call it spring clean. And then I broke the mop, so I've got to replace that. Maybe I should go do that now.

No, I think paperwork sorting, deposit, breaking down cardboard, recycling sorting then buy mop. That way I can take the cardboard and recycling out when I go out to get the mop.
