I don't like pesto, but that's because I just don't like that much basil. It's a shame, because a neighbor has a wee basil plantation on his front porch in the summer and gives away shopping bags full of the stuff. I'd rather have spaghetti in just the olive oil, garlic, pine nuts, and cheese. Or swap out the pine nuts for red pepper flakes.

I am all dressed up (relatively speaking) with nowhere to go, because my plans just got canceled. I'm kind of glad they did, but now I don't want to waste being up, showered, dressed in outside clothes with makeup and hair and everything well before usual (if ever) on a Sunday. But I can't seem to formulate a plan. I guess I'll start with food and see what happens.
