sara, I really hope we're sitting near people who share your attitude!
She's actually been fine on past flights (at 2 months and 6 months) so I'm not overly worried, but the ear infection could make this one significantly worse. She went on ABs for it a week ago and has seemed like she's improving, but then today they reported at daycare that they thought she wasn't feeling well again, so I don't really know what to expect for tomorrow.
the baby gets my sympathy, they don't know what the fuck is going on.
So true. Poor kiddo.
benedryl and warm moist towels over ears for take off and landing.
Huh, I hadn't heard of the warm moist towels thing, but we'll give it a try. Thanks, msbelle!
You could also give her some proactive Motrin or Tylenol.
Yeah, the Tylenol will definitely be making the trip with us. Good call.
Good luck! Yeah, warm wet compresses help. I'm not sure why, because for me they never dislodge anything or reduce pressure, but it FEELS better.
Thanks, y'all! And now I toddle off to bed.
found another school job to apply for AND got a lead on another possibility with a real person to contact.
Man I hope I can land something and quit.
From your fingers to FSM's ears, msbelle.
And for me, as well. I spent today typing up one-page status reports on my projects. 5 down, 49 to go...
The job at current employer that I am applying for, probably a $10K drop. The position I am applying for tonight $15K drop.
I am just doing deep breathing exercises and drinking wine. It will all work out.
msbelle,
makes me wonder if you can't move jobs in the company in the meantime. is this at all possible, especially with the shenanigans?
