Ellie totally skipped size 6/6X. I suppose she went through it over the summer but she's now a 7 whose pants always have to be checked to make sure they don't fall off.

I will have to, because I think it will take subject matter expertise to find the proper current equivalent for what we bought before. I mean, I have worked out what the style title was (Easy Rider something), but I can't work out which of the three current Easy Rider options it's closest to. I went to the grocery store and bought stuff to make cassoulet, but now I'm too lazy because I made & drank a Pisco sour. So I think it's going to be a mushroom quesadilla. And then maybe Ken Burns' new documentary.

I made lasagne. Browned off some ground turkey and some italian sausage, then sauteed some chopped onion and cremini mushrooms in the drippings. I added a jar of organic sauce, and let that simmer for 20 minutes to get acquainted. I had intended to make bechamel, but I forgot to buy milk, so I mixed some half and half with some frozen alfredo sauce. I layered meat sauce, white sauce, and one of those shredded italian cheese blends. It was nom and I am very full.
