In my life I have never heard of choosing office space this way.
le n, was that in response to my real estate math problem? Yeah, I have no idea what's going on. I was running the space search for a while last year, but my straight ahead and logical approach was apparently all wrong, so my boss is dealing with it now. Coordinating with a couple other non-profits to share space, so maybe that's where this is coming from? Maybe I should have asked why exactly she wanted the info, but I'm long past actually caring.

That would make a little more sense.
but I'm long past actually caring.
Though that makes the most sense of all.
I do not understand storing phones in the bra. A car key or roll of cash in the cleavage, sure, but my phone? Does not fit there, and not because of inadequate boobage or lack of trying (pretty sure Tom Scola has photos of me attempting that feat at the last F2F and totally failing). plus I'm really not happy at the idea of an expensive piece of electronics being subjected to the humidity of mah boobies.
IT security is the only section of IT that I know jackshit about and am curious as hell about. I watched a friend create his entire security career and transition from below my pay grade to above, and I still can't work out how I'd do it. We do get some free training software courses, and I'm at least taking the security-related ones there, because it just looks like magic.
Completely unrelated to the Security Director job opening at my company, but the frequency with which that position is open makes me even more curious about what sort of stuff they know.
Thanks, Teppy and Jess. Interesting.
I've stashed my phone in my bra on occasion (slipped into the side), but mostly I prefer clothes with pockets.
According to, ahem, sources familiar with the matter, it took the main site getting hit for IT to start taking the problem seriously, but they seem to be on top of things now.
My theory - angry Russian Community fans.
Does anyone here have a google alert or similar for their employer? I recently decided I was too ignorant and set one up. It's kinda educational. But luckily not high traffic.
I am kinda confused by my job sometime. As a business analyst, I take end user requirements and make a guide document for developers out of it. I really really do not pick which developer works with me on stuff, especially with the developers we have now. It was one of those resounding silence moments of the call, but I had no idea "We need a developer to assign to this" was targeted at me, since the developers and their manager are also on the phone.
But, strictly, not silence, since one person is chewing noisily into the call, and someone else is heavy breathing. I am continually boggled by how un-paranoid people are.
Go CJ! And go Suzi, you righteously proud mommy!
It has never occurred to me to store keys or phone or anything in my bra. I blame the fact that I was a wee A-cup for so long that I went basically braless until I started teaching.
