Does anyone here have a google alert or similar for their employer? I recently decided I was too ignorant and set one up. It's kinda educational. But luckily not high traffic.
I am kinda confused by my job sometime. As a business analyst, I take end user requirements and make a guide document for developers out of it. I really really do not pick which developer works with me on stuff, especially with the developers we have now. It was one of those resounding silence moments of the call, but I had no idea "We need a developer to assign to this" was targeted at me, since the developers and their manager are also on the phone.
But, strictly, not silence, since one person is chewing noisily into the call, and someone else is heavy breathing. I am continually boggled by how un-paranoid people are.
Go CJ! And go Suzi, you righteously proud mommy!
It has never occurred to me to store keys or phone or anything in my bra. I blame the fact that I was a wee A-cup for so long that I went basically braless until I started teaching.
In my experience, people are rarely paranoid enough.
My theory - angry Russian Community fans.
I am not currently angry. I feel the need to say.
I think -t just confessed she hacked NBC.
I'm pretty sure! And I want in on her -fu!
I agree with flea!
ita,
that's what I do whenever I have a new employer (I talk big, but I change jobs about 1x a decade), but I do a google news alert for my employer, the city where I live. I also have alerts for my alumni institutions. Usually such things are low traffic, but a weekly email isn't too bad.
Ever since I had to sign an NDA and they said someone was leaking things to the press, and I thought "We have press? To leak to?" I missed the big wave, but I get very wrapped up in the IT side and detached from our business.
Bronchitis seems to be all but cleared up. Now sinus infection. I told my boss I would not be coming in tomorrow.
Oh and I got a manicure. Money I do not have, but oh well.
