I think the DMV may be the Platonic ideal of "Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence," though.

True. And second the "thank god not discovered while driving" but damn. And I'm surprised it isn't more expensive--I feel like that's the sort of thing where they'd pile on late fees and failure to appear fees or something.

I think my bank might only keep checks available online for viewing for 18 months, older than that you have to request.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Between the move, changing banks, reshuffling everything with the bed bugs, if I have any documentation I wouldn't know where to look. $93 is worth not hassling with that part of all this. Had it been a lot higher...maybe I'd be willing to deal.

Sigh.

Ok, back to battling MS Project.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Not only did I get my home phone working again (which involved a lot of crawling around behind furniture and carefully plugging/unplugging stuff) but I called my contract recruiter (the one who got me the last job) and he's now officially back on my case. So it begins....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He can drive. You can go spend a week in sunny Miami drinking foofy drinks, then meet him there after he has unpacked.

Now THAT's a plan!

And your time to figure it out is definitely worth the hundo not to.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

There's a power outage at my office due to ice on the lines, so I get a third of a day off. And my Christmas present DVDs of Combat School and Jetstream arrived today, so 14 hours of wonderful Kavan Smith narration now available.

I endorse this plan with Jesse.

Besides, he should be pushing for relocation costs that include professional packers/unpackers.

Is 'saleable' a word? What word should I use instead of it?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is 'saleable' a word? What word should I use instead of it?

Marketable? Or is that as much not a word as saleable?

eta: At ;least my browser thinks 'marketable' is a word, while saleable gets the wavy red line.

A bit of Googling says that 'salable' is the American spelling. Which just looks w r o n g.
