Because books.

Ah, my flight has been delayed twice and it's still a few hours until it leaves. I suspect they are softening us up for cancellation. I don't think I can handle being stuck here overnight. I had about 2 hours sleep last night and I feel so crappy.

Oh, Sue. I hope you're not cancelled! I wish I could offer you a place to stay, and I totally would if we weren't at my mom and dad's right now. There is literally no room left at the inn.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, I hope you make it home, Sue!

information libertarian

I've never run a 5K, but at the ones I've volunteered at, the mom with the double jogging stroller/man juggling is always a 10 year old kid. Goddamn kids and their energy.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

But the thing I came to post was that my therapist does this walk/talk thing through this gorgeous park up in Denver. I always loved sipping tea in her office but the walking/talking thing has been really great. I don't go every week anymore, but just maybe once every 2-3 months and I love it.

So you spend your hour of therapy walking through the park instead of sitting in an office? Holy shit, that is such a fantastic idea! (And that therapist must be in fabulous shape!)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hm, okay, I didn't know any of that, about 5ks. Also, pardon my ignorance and my refusal to Google, but how long is a 5k? Perhaps it isn't as long as I think it is, if one can walk it in less than an hour.

Our wings are not tired.

Where will your new apartment be, Amy? Exciting!!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

5 kilometers = 3.125 miles, which to me is not a bad walk but not a distance I could jog, let alone run.

3 miles

Oh! Well, then. My experience being dragged around England tells me that I can walk 3 miles, though I may be in pain at the end of it. Run, though, no freaking way.

Hm. I *could*.

Hm.
