The status is NOT quo.

I hear a lot of rhetoric about how bisexuals either aren't real or are really just straight people who want a thrill or are only good for sex, not relationships, from people in the gay community. It's depressing and hurtful.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I must have missed the memo about White Parties being intended as events to promote romantic dating and forming long term relationships.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I have cleaned All The Things.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I was once told by a therapist that there's no such thing as bisexuality, and that I was just "confused". Not sure what she thought I was confused about, exactly.

My sister and her boyfriend will be arriving in five or six hours, so I need to go Clean All The Things. Her tolerance for not-cleanliness is much lower than mine.

Our wings are not tired.

I think the only argument I have heard in person against the option of bisexuality was that those that identify as such are really gay. So apparently bisexuals just lie about being attracted to the opposite sex?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So apparently bisexuals just lie about being attracted to the opposite sex?

They're in denial. That's the idea. They don't want to just come out as gay so they tentatively keep one foot in the bisexual status.

Personally, I'm weary of the need to jam sexuality into a binary scheme, or simple boxes. It's always about cultural baggage and never about actual sexuality.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, that list of Savage posts really shows a sensitive and empathic guy I'd love to have people associate me with entirely. Yay him.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I like Dan Savage, even though his discomfort with ladyparts is sometimes quite obvious.(Sometimes his column depresses me, though because they're all jaded and stuff and I haven't gotten to a lot of ordinary things yet.)
