Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've been using lumosity for some time now. I've certainly gotten better at the games, but I'm not absolutely sure it's made a difference in day-to-day braining

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, to my understanding "principles of neuroplasticity" boils down (in real-world terms) to "you get better at what you do, and get worse at what you don't do" Which is just common sense (it also seems obvious that the brain changes throughout adulthood). Primarily (in a non-rehab setting, and there's some wicked cool stuff out there about post-stroke rehab) is that you have to do a lot of in-context practice to really see the effects.

tommy,

I wish there would be some discussion or question about ethnic profiling because I really do think that could have been an issue.
