All of the trees in the back are mature fruit bearing trees (fig, chermoya, orange, plum and lemon). I cannot express how lovely the backyard smells.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

That sounds wonderful.

It's definitely small but workable in the short term (and by that I mean like the next 4 years which I doubt we'll stay that long).

We looked at a house to buy today that was gorgeous on the inside, a little high but still within our budget was okay looking on the outside. But then, there was a second building on the property. With a putting green. And a tiki bar half the size of the actual house. With a dart board. and two bars. All powered by EXTENSION CORDS from the actual house.

I had no words. It totally ruined a great property otherwise. the listing details has it listed as a "party house"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Kat,

that house is really great! YAY. Did you just meet the owners and agree on terms?

That is HALF the size of the actual house? Everything.

And a putting green?! with astroturf?!

Oh! And the fridge was left in the middle of the kitchen because it was several inches taller than the space underneath the cabinetry, yet they tried to force it in? NUTSO. Also, a stove that was gorgeous but never been used and a lovely kitchen in which the only appliance that looked like it got regular use was the microwave and the coffee pot.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

how can they sell a house with blatant code violations?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That there is a house that tells a very clear story about the previous owner.
