Ruined the fucking movie for me. Just ruined. The movie was going along great until that bullshit.

I LAUGHED in the theater when that line was uttered.

"...Ok, so you should, um -- You should probably get that checked. But did you not notice that I'm also drenched?"

I really like Andie in Sex, Lies and Videotape and Groundhog Day (where her job was to be charmed by Bill Murray. Which admittedly can't be too hard since every woman I've ever seen play against Bill Murray looks a little giddy with charm. See also, Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters and Olivia Williams in Rushmore.)

sex, lies, and videotape was decent. Groundhog Day can do no wrong. But I think I can quote that entire movie. And I'm not a movie quoter. I thought she was okay in both, but I didn't say "damn, she was great in that movie."

I actually didn't hate her in Four Weddings until the end of the film. I actually think Julia Roberts would have been better. Laugh and all.

I'm puzzling over a piece of spam I got, because I can't work out the point. At least in my email client, it's one of those nonsense to and from addresses, and the only text visible is "when you coming back? I thought we were going to catch a movie."

Okay? I can't work out how you get from there to swindling me out of my life savings...

If you were to reply, you would start getting ridiculous amounts of spam.

But they're not masquerading as anyone I'd answer. That's why I don't understand it. It's a gibberish email address and an uncommon name.

I mean, why not say your name is Michael and use a better return address?
