Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I also can't figure out how to make blouses accommodate my boobs

Just get the shirt that big, and get darts put in? I've found the cotton knit still forgiving enough for me--and I don't mind if they're too big around the waist, since they're easy to belt--not bulky.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have two dresses that fit me in the bust still, and are short and empire-waisted, so I can still wear them. My other dresses look ridonkulous.

My wedding dress, which is a hot pink cocktail gown, I will have re-tailored one day, but I will live this summer in sarongs and tanks.

Sarongs always fit. I would LOVE a formal sari in turquoise and silver.

Luckily, Old Navy's Flirt cut works well on my body. My friend F is a 14 in the booty and a 10 in the waist, 8 on top. She has a problem finding pants & skirts.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks for the Siri link, Tom. That's just Malkovich being Malkovich.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow, tommy, that's a neat photo. I think the SO has photos of that level of generation, but I don't.

Jesse, what was wrong with the dress? It might fit me...or might not...but if it DID fit, I think it would look good on me.

In crazy family news, my cousin, who is four years younger than me (37) is now a grandmother. She was a mom at 16. Five kids. *shudder*

Wow. Eesh.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I think we all need to be back in the times of custom-made clothes.

I keep saying I learned to alter clothes out of self-defense, because there is no way anything off the rack fits my bust-to-waist ratio. Add in my petticoats, and it's just ridiculous.

Jilli! Speaking of your waist..your corset got sent back to me, insufficient postage, despite my having weighed it. I will re-send it as soon as I get my paycheck from editing, ok?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That dress is lovely.

I think of myself as a size 8 now, although given how random size are, the clothes in my closet range from 6 to 12. And I'm realizing there are dresses and skirts I should get rid of, they just don't fit and just don't see myself losing the weight necessary to fit in them again.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Community season 3 final exam

22/25! And one of the ones I got wrong was me misreading the question. And the other two were from alternate timelines.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Did you read Holli's Steve versus the Hipsters fic?

I did! It was fun! I should tell her so.

I'm rather lucky with clothes, I guess, although even for me it's hard to know what sizes to order because of size creep. So at Lands End I order 6s or smaller, which is ridiculous. Even though I'm really not that tiny, it's just that LE is so generously-cut.
