Oh, no, Dana! I'm glad you're (mostly) all right!
My sister and I hung out a lot with a set of brothers. It was totally conceivable that we'd have dated siblings. She was engaged to the oldest brother. There were a total of four, and I was the same age as the second youngest, who was my best friend through childhood. Although, when they broke up, my mom took me aside and lectured me that I was not to then date my sister's ex-fiance. I was, maybe fifteen? I was all WTF...well, now that you mention it...
She believed that the oldest brother (who was a few years younger than older sis, but a few years older than me) would totally have been a better fit with me (he was a musician, much more easy-going than my sister, etc.) but that of course I shouldn't then date him. I had no intention of dating him, I was just super disappointed he wasn't going to be my brother-in-law.
Then I went on to date a guy that was even older than him, so I guess my mom was right to worry.
Also: Thanks, Liese!
Wait, for what? The giant goodstuff queue dump I did?
I was slightly wrong. Polly Loving married Stephen Stone (my grandmother's grandfather, I think) in Dec 1803. Walter Loving married Dolly Stone in April 1806. Betsey Loving married Nicholas Stone in Feb 1808. So the Lovings were 2 girls and a boy and the Stones were 2 boys and a girl.
I had not even remembered Erin's fall until now, but I'm very glad I didn't break a hand (or an arm). Though I suppose since I fell on my suitcase, it broke my fall?
Oof. I have uploaded 291 photos and sent links to siblings.
I've done quite a lot of computering this three-day weekend, what with the scanning and the uploading. Brain is fried.
Ohhh! Jesse, if you are selling the dress, I might be interested.
I'm down to a 4-6-8 depending on the skirt or pant (some of my skirts from anthropologie are at 4 which is NUTS) but I still wear 10 and 12, even though I can take them off without unbuttoning. Mainly because I'm cheap and I own those pants already.
But tops? I'm an XXL because of my boobs. Stupid ribs and bust changing from kids. I am still agog at my bra size and wish it were smaller.
I still haven't found the right size for fitted pants. Waist-6, Ass-10. So skirts are fine, in a 6, but most any pants that think they're hugging the hip as just stupid as hell. Another reason I'm still wearing the Kat-bought-jeans.
Okay, this fanartist can make *anything* cute (and god forbid if it started cute, because sugar shock. Cutified the Avengers, most of them. Her talent leaves me aghast, although I'd totally use it for sex.
I didn't buy the jeans. I just facilitated the buying. Lucky Jeans work for you, ita. I'd think they'd work again.
There needs to be an eshakti for pants more than dresses. The fit on pants is way more troubling for me than dresses and skirts. My waist is solidly 8, occasionally 6, but my upper thighs would prefer the bagginess of a 10.
FTR, I also can't figure out how to make blouses accommodate my boobs. I'm resorting to lots of tshirts.
Pants fit is ridiculous.
I think we all need to be back in the times of custom-made clothes. Or at least, I need my grandmother back. My clothes looked awesome when I was 7 and she was making them. I totally need to find that photo of me in my 70's vest and matching (salmon-colored) pants. With my hands in my pockets all cocksure.

When I wore buttondowns for work, I pretty much always wore it half-buttoned with a cami underneath.

Word! My ass/hips are probably a 6 or 8, but my waist is a 10/12. This is why lowrise pants are awesome. I spent decades either being cut in half or having baggyass.
