"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"Bring it, Chump!"

I just like saying, "Chump." Korra will back me up on this.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

thought it would awkward for ita to have to ban me

I have no rights there. I'm not banning anyone. Dump away.

Tom Hardy makes me nervous. In too many interviews he looks like he's about to freak out and cry. I much prefer him acting or posed. Not being heartfelt. If he does have a meltdown, I don't want to see it.

Tom Hardy, quit getting your emo all over ita.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

ION, Emmett broke the 7 minute mile for the first time since he was in 5th grade. This is not insignificant for his baseball catcher self. Also, this is his last year of P.E. for high school so he won't be running many miles.

Also, he's currently sporting a Puck-ish semi-Mohawk (everybody on the Varsity team got one for the final game yesterday).

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Lord amighty, it is hot in the Charlotte airport.

Also, Joe Biden apparently just left. No idea if those two things are related.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry about the comments on that site. I didn't read them.

I am pretty strict about this rule. It helps with the sanity. Just yesterday I had a spirited discussion with crazy employee about reading comments. She was citing proof of some crazy theory (you don't want to know) by pointing to anonymous comments on some tinfoil site she follows. After a couple of us tried to point out the flaws in that line of proof we stopped discussion. That would be rule 2 - don't argue with the crazy lady.

brillig

I keep forgetting that Yahoo's Comments are a wretched hive of scum and villainy, without the mitigating factor of a youngish Harrison Ford. The comments section of our local "they must be radical lefties, though the rest of the world would call them staid conservatives" paper is an amusing microcosm of local views that gives me hope some people in this state have progressive brains. I've been in there long enough to know the players and the back stories of the insults.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Got CJ's grades. Nothing fantastic, mostly B's and C's. One D. Which bites but he was running at risk of having 3 D's, so this is a better outcome. AND he is no longer under the threat of being on grade probation for ARP. (If they have 1 F or 2 D's, then they are on probation for 6 weeks).

Please, please, please let 10th grade be a better, less stressful year.
