See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Phrenology chart bike helmet [link]

That is super-crazy-not-in-this-lifetime expensive, but oh God how I want one. And I do actually need a new bike helmet, and could possibly actually do something similar on my own; I really dislike stealing other people's ideas, but it's just so gorgeous. WANT.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Only thing planned for the weekend is to =finally= see The Avengers. Also need to clear some stuff off the DVR, as it is 91% full.(Much of that is Mythbusters and Top Gear, I suspect.)

Jilli, one of my friends in Seattle posts about the crows she encounters regularly.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I would be Sophia, reformatting just because of the offenses to the formatting deities.

JZ, I'd think that whatever you came up with would be more "inspired by" than stealing. There are a lot of different phrenology charts out there, like this one [link] It's a fine line, but you're not planning to sell his idea as your own.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay, Suzi!

Yay Suzi!

Me, I got a milkshake (strawberry), and it was kind of grossly filling. I may need to take a nap.

I finished listening to the audiobook series I've been working through since February, too. Leaves me kind of drained. Like I don't want to read anything for a while, so it can all soak in.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Which audiobook series? I'm doing The Dark Is Rising right now. I'm not really into it yet; I don't know if I'll last through three more books.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We've seen this before, but now there's more!

Meet the entire cast of 1950s greaser Batman's Gotham City

Awesome!

Argh. Was supposed to be home in time to have a nice Friday evening, but traffic was so bad I changed my flight to be later and won't be home until about 930 or 10.

Which audiobook series?

Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles: old-school high romance, with swordplay, politics, battles, more politics, fabulous characters, brilliant prose, heart-breaking deaths, hysterical set-pieces, some dodgy Orientalism, and a sad amount of implicit slut-shaming.

But it's not often you get a romantic & narrative payoff six volumes (and eleven years in internal chronology) in the building, and have it be that satisfying.
