Me, I got a milkshake (strawberry), and it was kind of grossly filling. I may need to take a nap.
I finished listening to the audiobook series I've been working through since February, too. Leaves me kind of drained. Like I don't want to read anything for a while, so it can all soak in.

The Dark Is Rising
right now. I'm not really into it yet; I don't know if I'll last through three more books.
Argh. Was supposed to be home in time to have a nice Friday evening, but traffic was so bad I changed my flight to be later and won't be home until about 930 or 10.

Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles: old-school high romance, with swordplay, politics, battles, more politics, fabulous characters, brilliant prose, heart-breaking deaths, hysterical set-pieces, some dodgy Orientalism, and a sad amount of implicit slut-shaming.
But it's not often you get a romantic & narrative payoff six volumes (and eleven years in internal chronology) in the building, and have it be that satisfying.

now to do all the work things I did not get completed.

Words cannot even say how much my mom needs that, and her birthday is in three weeks, and there's no way in hell I can afford it. I'd ask the sibs, but we all just teamed up in a super-spendy Mother's Day gift. BOO.
Just had to share...I am trying to change this but Frisco will wait days to poop at home when I can wipe him. Drives me crazy but he has crazy willpower.
Stephanie, Dylan was like that until he was almost 4. On vacation he used to hold it for a week until we broke out the glycerin suppositories. Now he gets a fiber gummy every morning at breakfast.
