Am very tempted to tart self up and bring pie to Sue.
So been at work an hour, have literally run between 3 building trying to get stuff done in little breaks of time. Boss gave me 2 paged of new to-dos and only now am I getting to the stuff I needed to do this morning because it is already late. Including a report to the CEO. Bad admin, no biscuit.
Aw, Jeffrey Steingarten. He's so predictably snotty and cranky. I love him.
It's raining and chilly and a perfect day to stay in bed, but Sara's home sick(ish), and I have to go to the gastroenterologist later. Good times.
I think I spelled that wrong, too.
(a) PIE POPS!! (b) the photography in that post is incredible. (c) Sorry the class got cancelled! Lame.

Awwww

I know! So pretty.
I harbour fantasies of making and selling pies at the local farmers market. I figure pie pops are: A) adorable as all get out, B) better ROI vs. whole pies, C)something kids will nag their parents to have.
I am not good at making food pretty is my problem with trying to sell anything.
There is good news, they are offering the class again in June, so I can switch my registration to that. I hope that one actually happens!
I'm on the same boat with you hating Mayer though. "Daughters" makes me want to take a hostage.
Isn't that the one where he cautions parents to treat their daughters better so they'll make better dating material for him when they grow up? I think it should inspire a Watchers Council-type organization of people training their daughters to hunt down douchey acoustic musicians for the betterment of humanity.
Back when I was in college someone had categorized some songs with various themes, one of which was "I'm a sensitive artist and have to get laid a lot". I've never actually heard John Mayer, as far as I know ... I may be lucky.
The pie pops are gorgeous! I'm not a pie eater, so for me, not super exciting except pretty. Though I guess I could do meat pie pops. Mmmm... savory meat pies.
I like Dave Matthews, actually.
Also, fitbit = fun. I love mine. But I hate the fact that even if I do the revolving stair treadmill it doesn't count it as stairs climbed. Do they use an altimeter?
They are starting some walking thing here at work, and I would be more excited except I think they will actually take your baseline and then look at increased activity. I want to get credit for already walking two miles a day anyway!
I like Dave Matthews and John Mayer, actually. Well, John Mayer's music, although "Daughters" is an awful song. As a person he seems fairly distasteful these days.
