hip deep in pie

There is good news, they are offering the class again in June, so I can switch my registration to that. I hope that one actually happens!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm on the same boat with you hating Mayer though. "Daughters" makes me want to take a hostage.

Isn't that the one where he cautions parents to treat their daughters better so they'll make better dating material for him when they grow up? I think it should inspire a Watchers Council-type organization of people training their daughters to hunt down douchey acoustic musicians for the betterment of humanity.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Back when I was in college someone had categorized some songs with various themes, one of which was "I'm a sensitive artist and have to get laid a lot". I've never actually heard John Mayer, as far as I know ... I may be lucky.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

The pie pops are gorgeous! I'm not a pie eater, so for me, not super exciting except pretty. Though I guess I could do meat pie pops. Mmmm... savory meat pies.

I like Dave Matthews, actually.

Also, fitbit = fun. I love mine. But I hate the fact that even if I do the revolving stair treadmill it doesn't count it as stairs climbed. Do they use an altimeter?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They are starting some walking thing here at work, and I would be more excited except I think they will actually take your baseline and then look at increased activity. I want to get credit for already walking two miles a day anyway!

Because books.

I like Dave Matthews and John Mayer, actually. Well, John Mayer's music, although "Daughters" is an awful song. As a person he seems fairly distasteful these days.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm not going to talk about anyone liking Dave Matthews Band. I have secret DMB songs in my music library.

Yes, and totally. And in the bridge of that song, he also says that it's OK to treat your sons like crap, because they're strong, and they'll recover as long as they've got one of these properly-raised daughters to love them.

Wasn't he the one who said that he's only attracted to white women, because his penis is racist, or something like that?

I don't know, Hil. He's said some weird stuff, though. I ignore it.

I need somebody to make a decision for me: do I get Thai food or falafel for lunch? I can't decide.
