I have my first day on a new job after 2 weeks of waiting. 2 weeks during which I did very little actual useful stuff.
I'm a little nervous.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You'll be fine, quester. Good luck for a pleasant and easy day!
thanks! I decided to have a glass of wine and a popscicle. I hope it helps.
What are you supposed to call Key limes when they aren't grown in the Keys? I've been chastised for using the wrong nomenclature before.
Was it by me? Sounds like the kind of dickish thing I'd make a stink about. I don't know. I know Key West itself is very particular about the limes they've got and say they're distinct from other non-Key West variations on the same lime. West Indian Limes? Kaffir?
Yeah, but fermentation is biology.
My friend Organic Chemistry and his buddies Hormones and Neurotransmitters would like to have a little talk with you.
Biology doesn't exclude Chemistry.
Good luck, quester!
(buying two bottles of gin, one of vodka, and some cheese at 10am on Sunday is apparently my lifestyle now)
That sounds like a pretty delightful lifestyle, I have to admit.
Plei and I went and had pedicures today! My toes are black with OPI's Divine Swine over it. Pink and fuchsia glitter with larger silver glitter! My toes are very sparkly. Then we browsed through some consignment boutiques, and went for a small amount of tapas and drinky-drinks. Mmm, Death in the Afternoon.
Ha! No, it was a non-buffista Floridian, but he didn't give me an alternative. That's what my mom has in her yard, though. At least I think so - they're small, thin-skinned, sweet, practically yellow limes.
Yeah, yeah, biology is a subset of chemistry is a subset of physics which is just applied math. I don't see how it applies to our friend the lime cordial - the ingredients are just sitting there, not fermenting or cooking or apparently doing anything, yet something clearly happens because it tastes different. Mysterious.

I'd like to have a little talk with Hormones and Neurotransmitters myself. Send them on over here. Tell them to bring chocolate.

That sounds like Key Limes to me.

Oooh! Cool science designs!
