Everyone is right to say, though--a phone that doesn't use SIM cards here isn't going to spring a slot abroad. It depends on what kind of technology the phone uses for service, whether or not the phone is unlocked, and other stuff that your phone company are in the best place to answer authoritatively.
The people in the voting lines with us (the family went 3 different days) were in good humor. Just chatting and socializing while passing the hours. Please let my state's many attempts to screw the voters bite them. Doubling the early voting hours would have worked so much better than halving them. Oh well. Still looks like a huge turnout.
