I don't really follow the news-- have they said anything about how Sandy is going to effect voting in NYC? Since NYC is so predominately Democrat and so much bigger than upstate and western NY, I don't usually worry about my vote (I was planning on voting for Jill Stein). But if NYC doesn't have a big turn out, it is possible my vote will matter, and I should vote for Obama.

Oh, man, we just put in an application to adopt this good girl:
She's a bit bigger than she is in the picture. Hard to say how big she'll be when full grown but we're guessing "medium sized." She was super chilled out and sweet. Fingers crossed!
Lisah- she is super cute! I have all my appendages crossed for you.
Look at that face!! Those ears!!! (Super soft, fyi)
She is adorable, I hope she comes home to you.
lisah, good luck! She's adorable.
Her ears do look really soft and kissable.
Adorable, lisah!
Did you see that Lucas is donating all $4 billion from the sale to Disney to education?!?
That was a beautiful thing to see.
Speaking of beautiful, 2 of the daughters of nail techs at my SIL's nail salon put up a lemonade/cookie stand in front of her shop today to raise funds for Sandy victims and they have raised over $600 so far! My other SIL lives in Staten Island (she drives an ambulance) and she is going to give the contributions to one of the local groups there that is doing a ton of good on the ground. The grocery store in the same complex as the nail salon donated a bunch of baked goods to sell too.
Me too, me too!
Okay, lisah!
And aww, puppy!
