I am trying not to wallow in the self-pity pool that I dug for myself on Friday. Doing some yard work was good for me yesterday. I am doing exercise while watching football today and also decorating for Halloween during half-time.
Right now, printout out the mailing labels for the two new sales on ebay.
Oh, God, Josh Mandel, Boy Wonder of Ohio. I don't actually really know anything bad about him except that he's the state treasurer, which for some reason means I have to make out the check for my car registration to "Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel." This strikes me as really excessive branding; shouldn't we just make it out to "Ohio DMV" or something? That and, I hate his smug face.
I don't get any television service so I haven't seen ads. When we were in Maine we watched some TV and I saw a Vote Yes on 1 ad (this would be voting to legalize same sex marriage) and we saw a Romney ad. I heard one radio ad calling out the opponent for being an extremist Tea Party member.
Driving home on Thursday we listened to NPR (Will's preference, he's a news junkie) and I got so sick of hearing about the VP debate. We traveled through a couple of areas so we'd switch the station and listen to preview for Thrill in the Ville over and over.
Sending you vibes, ita, to get through this Sunday.
I think I am just as glad that I don't live in a swing state. I'm already too stressed out about the election.

I think I have to even stop looking at 538, because of Romney's jump in the polls. It's freaking me out too hard.
Timelies all!
Went to brunch with my MIL, then went to a showing of Israeli art. Groceries, and home.
I just put up the announcement for the annual gift exchange - email me if you want in. I am going post to the FB group also.
Steph,
Romney was going to jump in the polls, in my view, because he was too low in before the first debate. Romney's levels are about what they were before any of the conventions. So he is back to summertime levels.
I believe in the accuracy of polls generally, but I thought the huge bump Obama got was a bit of a blip.

I was just feeling so much better with 538 showing Obama predicted to take over 300 electoral votes, and >75% odds of winning.
The numbers now freak me out too much.
Someone is either shooting a gun near my house, or there was a hell of a loud motorcycle backfiring
