That sounds like a great wedding!

It really was. The bride also sang a totally silly song that she'd written about her husband, because, when he gave her a guitar for her birthday last year, she told him that she'd write a song for him if she learned how to play it by their wedding day. And they wrote their own ketubah, using some of the traditional text and some that they rewrote, and a friend who's an artist made it all pretty. They did the traditional Jewish wedding blessings, and the groom's sister read something asking for the blessings of earth, fire, air, and water. The ceremony part was on a platform surrounded by statues of the Muses. The a capella group that the groom founded sang as they entered and left.

Go to grocery. Buy deviled eggs. Place deviled eggs on pretty plate. Serve deviled eggs. Receive praise warmly.

I got dinged half an hour ago by my boss, saying "I should not have to follow up on this."

He didn't. He's had the info since Thursday. He just never read it.

Now he's dinging me for not having followed up on him not having read the email.

I have a lot to accomplish today, but I am not going to take the penalty for that.

I just told the actual trufax project manager that they need to track down what's taking this step so long. Yeah, I know the answer, but I'm not getting any further involved.

My deviled eggs are mustard (dijon usually), mayo, a little dill pickle or caper brine, chopped up capers, salt & pepper, sometimes paprika sprinkled on top. Always delicious!

Oh, and the bride and groom's first dance was to "Our House." (The "very very very fine house" one, not the "in the middle of our street" one.)
