I got dinged half an hour ago by my boss, saying "I should not have to follow up on this."
He didn't. He's had the info since Thursday. He just never read it.
Now he's dinging me for not having followed up on him not having read the email.
I have a lot to accomplish today, but I am not going to take the penalty for that.
I just told the actual trufax project manager that they need to track down what's taking this step so long. Yeah, I know the answer, but I'm not getting any further involved.
My deviled eggs are mustard (dijon usually), mayo, a little dill pickle or caper brine, chopped up capers, salt & pepper, sometimes paprika sprinkled on top. Always delicious!
Oh, and the bride and groom's first dance was to "Our House." (The "very very very fine house" one, not the "in the middle of our street" one.)
man, you know I went to the Madness place and I will have that song playing in my head all day.
I like the Madness one more, but the "very very very fine house" does have two cats in the yard....

Bonus: It was the house Joni Mitchell shared with Graham Nash.
The Best Scenes From Insane Old Star Trek Coloring Books
The 1986 Star Trek Alien Coloring Book did the world a great service by reminding the world that, yes, James T. Kirk was once menaced by a kitty the size of a cabin.
Also, the ones where the crew of the Enterprise visit a planet of circus performers, so they go undercover as clowns.
No, really.
Oh, the bride's brother (who is a musician) also played and sang Peter Paul & Mary's "Wedding Song" during the ceremony, and we were supposed to sing along, but they forgot to print the lyrics in the program, so we mostly just sang the "there is love" part and let him sing the verses alone.

I love that song! Possibly because it is about Graham Nash and Joni Mitchell, but I think I loved it as a kid, before I even knew who they were.
I have not yet done anything but answer the phone and deal with things that came from that.
I need to
- Go through student worker applications and set up interviews
- Send room assignments to fall instructors
- Pick a date and write a course description for a Microsoft Word Class
- Plan Word Class
- Do the same for excel
- find a date for Wound Closure Class
- Draft end-of-course instructor summaries for instructors who have left the university, and one instructor who is super behind, because we are getting a review from accreditors
- Set up a complex meeting
- Update Website
- Sned email to big-wig with our registration needs
- Read and revise my student's research for some projects for my boss.
Arrgh! All so boring to me at this moment.
